Interviews
Svartsinn Interview; Lost in Reveries

All I can say about this is that 100% of the Svartsinn music is extremely personal, so I just throw myself completely into the music emotionally, psychologically and therefore concept-wise - with all the atmosphere and mystique that goes with it.

Olegh Kolyada Interview; Cadaver City

MA Shukh took part in FHF’s recent Adamnation and OR’s "Czarstvo dukha" records. The collaboration turned out to be real first after virtual and then personal acquaintance and dramatic coincidence on several musical aspects. When I heard his Mass for Sopranos first I was speechless – so groundbreaking the effect was; the idea of implementing his classical grandeur into industrial textures sounded pretty inspiring since I could hardly recollect something well up to par in this particular genre. The final result of his contributions into both projects surpassed all my expectations. He monitored my manipulations of his parts first and then added live sessions, which were processed by me at the end again.

Magnum 38 Interview; Klick Klick

I played in different punk/wave bands, but it got more and more bored with the restrictions of that kind of music, bored with rock music in general. And at the same moment I got totally blown away by electronic music which I was starting to discover around the same time. So I decided to make my own music without having to make any compromises with other band members.

Colosseum Interview; Corridors of Desolation

Colosseum started as my project exploring the Funeral Doom influenced by dark ambient and classical works. I found a members for this group pretty quickly. I knew Olli (guitar) and Janne (bass) from previous musical projects and found Sameli (drums) through internet.

Von Branden Interview; Consuming Life

As I mentioned before, we do not think that our former life is important. Therefore, we created the three members of [von Branden]. We do not exist in that common sense. Our names and pictures for example are nothing but a result of the need to define ourselves in this world.

Ván Records Interview; Era of Decadence

In the past we made some unpleasant experiences with other labels who released “our” music. So, during a certain time the bands of the “Wód Ván”, our local “brotherhood”, just released their stuff as CDr and spread a dozen copies among themselves.

Worship Interview; Graveyard Horizon

I can see semistardom at the horizon as a tiny pixel, so don’t ask me how it feels. Beyond The Void has a lot of passion and desire to procreate, but we are mostly powered by ourselves. We have no huge label behind us, branding our logo into the foreheads of the masses.

I'm a very peaceful person. I am a believer in non-violence, towards people and animals. Thus I am a vegan... which is a HUGE part of my lifestyle. Spiritually I draw from Buddhism, Taoism, Universalism, meditation, and lucid dreaming.

Nefastus Dies Interview; A Funeral for Tradition

It’s always my intention to put everything I’ve got into my screams, whether they be inhaled or exhaled, and I don’t try to have the perfect voice that sounds the same all the time and never breaks.
