Interviews
Ô Paradis Interview; Voces Antiguas

I really like mixing spirituality with everything else. For example, sex is very important in “O Paradis” but it’s an infantile, magic view of sex because in infancy sex is more mysterious than in adulthood. Magic thoughts are manifested in children, in dreams and in the mentally challenged because these three states of perception...

Olegh Kolyada Interview; Cadaver City

MA Shukh took part in FHF’s recent Adamnation and OR’s "Czarstvo dukha" records. The collaboration turned out to be real first after virtual and then personal acquaintance and dramatic coincidence on several musical aspects. When I heard his Mass for Sopranos first I was speechless – so groundbreaking the effect was; the idea of implementing his classical grandeur into industrial textures sounded pretty inspiring since I could hardly recollect something well up to par in this particular genre. The final result of his contributions into both projects surpassed all my expectations. He monitored my manipulations of his parts first and then added live sessions, which were processed by me at the end again.

Omnia Interview; Fairytale

We are 100% Celts in the truest meaning of the word pertaining to our head-hunting warrior / bardic forefathers hence the term "Celtic."We live now and not in the Iron Age hence the "Neo" (which means "New.") We are animistic pantheist Pagans, hence the "Pagan."We are the people of the land, we make the music of the people of the land and this is best described by the term "Folk" (which means "people.")

Oneiric Imperium Interview; There is No Room for You

I've had a lot of extremely varied reactions to my art over the years, from those who adore every bit of it, to those who hate me for it. I have a good understanding of what demographics of people pick up on it and how it effects them.

Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio Interview; Hell is my Refuge

O.R.E is a selfish outlet, it serves the sole purpose of satisfying myself, my desires, my dreams, my thoughts and the questions I have. What I portray is a reflection of me, lyrically as well as musically, musically as well as graphically. And if this canalization of selfishness through text, music and images is able to inspire one single person to seize his or her life, realize their dreams, and LIVE life to its fullest potential, then my quest is done and it was all worth it.

Oren Ambarchi interview; In the Pendulum's Embrace

We’ve worked together so much in different projects, including Sunn 0))), that we can just talk about the stuff in the bus on the way to the gig, and maybe try a few things out in the soundcheck, and just develop it from gig to gig. It’s quite improvised as well.

Ostara Interview; Immortally Wounded

Exile of course is a major preoccupation of the ancient and modern Jews and, being Jewish, I am influenced by that tradition. I do, however, see a positive side to this theme and I like the image of the Wanderer which has echoes of both Odin and Ahasuerus. It is also so central to the image of the outsider as explored and experienced...

Ouroboros Interview; The Occult Divined

Ouroboros has been intricately connected from the beginning to the occult, so much so in fact that it is difficult, if not impossible, to think of one without the other.   Marco Grosso, the person behind Ouroboros, with the opportunity of his newest release, “Lux Arcana”, makes clearer in this interview his goal and intentions with his project, and kindly provides the readers with some...
